As a virtual mountain resting on a wall, this piece brings together 70 tons of cement fists: Piles of rubble, a mutiny of selected fragments and incomplete statues. This crowd refers, however, to an impetuous persistence that tends to add, throughout the history of our country, social struggles of different cast.
The piece is proposed as an iconic image that points to note that it is not possible to speak of final defeats in the midst of persistence: The strength of this crozwd, isolated from any of its particular energy, somehow, binds together here, with composure and unity. This is a social sculpture: the proposal aims to become larger and larger, and to invite the viewers to include a copy of their fists, joining the exhibition, during the time it lasts.
