In Colombia, the 90´s newspapers showed pictures of the missing or murdered people in a context of political violence, as well as the photographs of their perpetrators in a format of 3.5 x 2.5 cm. 

 

One row above and one below in a deathly order. The installation consists of a polyptych of 16 canvases of 89 x 71 cm each in Oil and canvass, in an extended and symmetric format making reference to a mausoleum.

 

Tombs represent mental space as a container filled with experiences and values, conflicts, forms, traditions and barriers. It can save meanings of life and death, depending on who owns the history or according to what the space represents to the observer.
